Happy Tuesday, everyone! I'm hoping we're back in the swing of things now, after a week off. Today we are going to be going to the library to work with Ms. Paganis on our research projects. You have been given your groups and you know roughly what you are going to be doing. Ms. Paganis will help us with the details today. Learning how to do research is so important. You are going to need to determine what is good facts, and what is not as useful as you go through life. Research papers will be a part of your school from now until you graduate either high school, or college, but more importantly, being able to read and determine what is good and useful information is going to be a lifelong skill that you are going to need to have. With the information age, there is so much swimming out there on the internet; it is up to you to be a critical thinker and determine what of that information is useful
Lastly, this Thursday (December 3) is your Homonyms quiz. Below is a study guide to help you remember the differences between some of these confusing words. Be sure to go over this and study for your quiz:
