Happy Short-day Thursday, everyone!Today we have a digital citizenship lesson with Ms. Paganis. Since we finally got our Chromebooks, it's important to remember that these lessons are meant to teach us the proper way to use our new tools. After our Digital Citizenship lessons, we are going to talk about how to read nonfiction. Reading nonfiction isn't the same as reading a fiction book. There are several resources located in nonfiction that we have to learn how to use to better help us read these kids of books. Today we are going to take a look at the components and structure of non-fiction. What is a glossary, and index? Why are some words bolded or highlighted? How do we read the graphs, charts and pictures in these books? And lastly, we are going to start focusing on some small grammar units. After reading all those myths, we could all use a little brush up on some different grammar topics. Today, we are focusing on capitalization. This should be easy, peasy, lemon squeezy! Good luck!
