Happy Friday, everyone! Can you believe that we've already been back to school for two whole weeks!? Time flies when you're having fun. Today we have our usual spelling test and spelling homework to get through. After we finish that usual business, we are going to take a look back at Chapters 1-3 of Hoot. We are going to look at some of the questions, comments, connections, and things we wrote down on our Post-It's notes while reading. One person in your group is going to be the discussion leader, and you guys will talk about the things you have read so far, and answer some of those questions you wrote down. Then, we are going to do our small presentations from our groups. Each group is going to share their information and their posters with the class. These are low-key and simple little presentations. Don't stress! They should only be about 2-3 minutes long. It's one of those....the more you know...things. Next week, we will continue with our Hoot reading. We need to find out who this vandal is, and who and where this running boy is going. Be ready to get in depth with our text! And don't forget to be reading over the long weekend! See you Tuesday!
