Good Morning, and Happy Monday, everyone! DO NOT FORGET! TODAY IS DISCOVERY MATH TESTING!Today we have a very weird schedule. Because of Discovery Math testing today, we have about two hours per class period. We have a lot of time together today (yay!). That being said, we are going to be doing some stations, and moving around.
The Stations will looks like this: 1. Snowflake making: as you know, decorating the hall is top priority for me! Haha. So we are going to make snowflakes today with figurative language on them. You'll have some time to cut out your snowflakes and write your figurative language on them. 2. Drawing: you are going to get some time to draw a scene from A Christmas Carol today. We've been reading quite a bit of it, and you're going to have some time today to translate those words into images. I think this is very important because visualizing stories can help make them more fun for us. 3. Spelling: You will get time to work on your spelling homework in class. Use your time wisely! 4. Independent Reading Project: need to read? Ready to start your project? Use this time to work on whatever you need to. You will have plenty of time to do so. We will rotate through the groups and also be reading a little bit as well. I'm hoping to get most of the story read today! Are we ready for a busy day?! Let's rock out this week!
