Well, we've come to that point. We've made it to the second last chapter of our book. Today, we're going to get in to "Nausicaa." Ulysses can not catch a break. Thank goodness that Ino was there to help him out of a bad situation. We really got in depth about the emotions and the human struggle that Ulysses is going through. If there was anything Ulysses needed, it was help from someone. It provided him with the hope and faith he needed to continue his journey. As we've left him, Ulysses is passed out in the weeds. We know from our chapter photo that Nausicaa is going to be another woman he encounters. What do we know about Greek women? What kind of situation do you think Ulysses will find himself in, yet again? How is he going to escape and get home? As far as speeches go, we are going to continue writing our speeches today. Since we aren't using our time too wisely, I'm going to randomly call on some students to go up and read parts of famous speeches. I think once you all get a taste for what it feels like to be standing in front of the class speaking, you might be more motivated to make sure you are working on your speeches. These are going to be delivered May 25 and 26, no matter if you're ready or not. REMINDERS:
