Happy Wednesday, everyone! After reflecting on our writing and our classwork yesterday, I'm hoping that as we move forward we will put our plans in place to be better students, learners and writers. After being forced to continue on our journey yesterday because of the rocks, we sail into treacherous territory. Achilles' ghost warned us of a peril that was heading our way. What is Ulysses and his men going to have to do to make it past this peril? "The Sirens" are not what they appear, and although temptation lures in the deep, we must learn to fight it. There is no worksheet today, but instead we are going to come up with our own question. What are we learning in Social Studies right now about essential questions? Each team is going to write an essential question for the chapter, or the book. Then, with a piece of paper on our desks, we are going to rotate in our groups and graffiti all kinds of thoughts, answers, comments, etc about this question.
What can we learn from our questions? You are your own powerful teachers too!
