Good Monday to everyone! Welcome back to another week of learning and fun! This week we are doing spelling Unit 14. The focus this week will be the suffixes "-able" and "-ible." We should be noticing the pattern that when added to a word, "-able" and "-ible" change that word to an adjective. Study, study, study! Our focus with identity this week is transitioning from "Who am I?" to "where do I fit in?" We're going to start looking at how individual identities fit into a whole. Where do you belong? What is your place? Our Identity Journal entry is going to be a reflection on those very questions. And our reading today is called "Tiffany, age 11." It actually comes from an interview from a girl named Tiffany who talks about how she has to learn to fit in and adjust to being a minority in a larger community. How does she view it? How does she fit in? The text is below: Monday Homework: Spelling Unit 14
