Happy Friday! Happy PJ Day!Another week has passed. Are we better today than we started out on Monday? Spelling Unit 7 is due today. We will be correcting it, and moving to our spelling test afterward. I will also check to see who has completed Spelling Unit 6 for extra credit. Remember, it is one point per completed page. Our chapter today is "Scylla and Charybdis." We talked on Monday about keeping the middle way, and what that means. We discussed it as a metaphor for life; not going to extremes and trying to keep everything in moderation. As we read today, take note of how Ulysses tries to keep his crew in the middle way, and get past these two deadly monsters. But do things always go our way? How do we handle things when they don't? How does Ulysses?
